Terms of Use
These Terms of Use govern your use of the Gradeforce website and web application at gradeforce.com (the “Service”), operated by Bluebird AI Pty Ltd (“Gradeforce”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Gradeforce. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian has reviewed and accepted these Terms on your behalf.
2. Your account
You create an account with an email address and password. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must not share your account or impersonate another person.
3. What Gradeforce does
Gradeforce uses large language models to grade assignments against rubrics you supply, returning a structured score, criterion-by-criterion feedback, and inline annotations. Output is generated automatically and is intended as a study aid and a teaching prompt — not as a final, authoritative grade. You should review every output before relying on it.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Upload content you do not have the right to use, including copyrighted work without permission.
- Submit content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or abusive.
- Use the Service to cheat on assessments where the use of AI grading is prohibited by your institution.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to disrupt the Service.
- Use the Service to grade work belonging to a real third party in a way that would harm them.
5. Free trial, subscription & billing
Gradeforce Pro is offered as a recurring subscription with a 7-day free trial. We collect a payment method at sign-up via our payment processor, Stripe. You will not be charged during the 7-day trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription begins automatically and your payment method is charged the then-current price (US$12/month at the time of writing) on a recurring basis until you cancel.
You can cancel at any time from the Billing page in the app or via the Stripe customer portal. Cancellation stops future renewals; you retain access until the end of the current paid period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. We may change pricing with notice; changes apply to subsequent billing periods.
6. Intellectual property
You retain all rights in the assignments and rubrics you upload. You grant Gradeforce a limited licence to process those documents through the grading pipeline solely to return your results. We do not use your documents to train AI models, and we do not share them with third parties except as required to operate the Service (for example, sending the document text to our model provider for the grading inference call).
The Gradeforce brand, design, and source code are owned by Gradeforce. You receive a personal, non-transferable licence to use the Service.
7. AI-generated output
Grading output is generated by AI and may contain errors, omissions, or biases. You acknowledge that:
- You will not rely solely on Gradeforce output to make consequential decisions about a student's academic standing.
- You will review and, where necessary, correct AI feedback before sharing it with a student.
- Gradeforce is not liable for grading decisions you make based on AI output.
8. Privacy
Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. Continuing to use the Service confirms you have read and agree to that policy.
9. Termination
You can stop using Gradeforce at any time and request deletion of your account by emailing support@gradeforce.com. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe are misusing the Service.
10. Disclaimer & limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gradeforce is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
